Born near Salt Lake City. Escaped to the Pacific Northwest. Been writing longer than I've been admitting to it.

About

The writer
behind the work

Born and raised in or near Salt Lake City, Utah. They baptized me but it certainly didn't stick. From there I've traveled the country a good bit. Made it across the Atlantic a few times in a burst of fabulous luck and happenstance and saw most of Western Europe. I'm currently awaiting sponsorship to Asia.

I've been doodling with words my whole life. It's later in my episode that I'm actually producing. Here's a sampling. I also spent a decade-plus shooting indie rock concerts — those photos will be posted as I get them scanned and organized.

I'm a proud, if not terribly outspoken, atheist. The Pacific Northwest became my home just before Covid. I very much doubt I'll leave.

The name fgd135 is a signal filter from a film. Designed to pass only the verified transmission and block everything else. It works until it doesn't. This site operates on the same principle.

Reading

What's on the nightstand. What you just finished and whether it was worth it. A title and a sentence is enough.

Eating / Cooking

What you've been cooking, what you're trying to recreate from a trip, what you ordered three times this month without apologizing.

Somewhere

Where you are or where you just were. A trip coming up. This section can be empty when you're home and just home.
